Solution 04

Traceability, MRV/dMRV and verification

Prove origin, compliance and impact to buyers, donors and regulators.

The problem

Organizations must prove origin, compliance and impact to buyers, donors and regulators (for instance under the EU's EUDR), while their data is scattered or can't be audited.

What we deliver

Value-chain traceability

Coffee, cocoa and forest products, from producer to buyer.

MRV/dMRV systems

Digital measurement, reporting and verification of environmental and climate results.

Climate-commitment tracking

Tools to track nationally determined contributions (NDCs).

AI agent auditing

What each agent did, with which data and to what quality: bias, errors and decision traceability.

Typical measurable outcomes

We agree indicators with you before we start. These are the most common:

↗Lots or producers traced
↗Report preparation time
↗Audit findings resolved
↗Indicators with a verifiable source

Technology and methods

  • INATrace
  • Geospatial databases
  • Verification workflows
  • LLM evaluation
  • Donor reporting

FAQ

What people usually ask

What are MRV and dMRV?

MRV stands for measurement, reporting and verification: the systems used to prove an outcome, such as an emissions reduction. dMRV is the digital version, with data collected and verified more continuously.

What is the EUDR?

It is the European Union's deforestation-free products regulation. It requires proof that commodities such as coffee and cocoa do not come from deforested land, which makes farm-level traceability essential.

Can an AI agent be audited?

Yes. Verification experience also applies to AI: you measure the quality of what the agent produces, document its sources and review its performance over time.
