Case study

Integrated data to respond to coffee leaf rust

Coffee risk map on the Pergamino platform

Challenge

Responding to coffee leaf rust means seeing epidemiological and weather data together, and they are usually kept apart.

What we did

We built Pergamino for the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA), a platform that integrates epidemiological and meteorological data.

Outcome

A single source of information to respond to coffee leaf rust.

Technology

  • Data platform
  • Climate information

DAP's role. DAP built the platform for IICA.
